01

Is Vaping bad for me?

E-cigarettes and other vaping devices are NOT risk-free. While they generally do not contain tobacco and are, therefore, in some ways, considered less harmful than smoking cigarettes.

Vaping is at least 95% safer than smoking according to Public Health England, and nicotine is a relatively safe stimulant. Tobacco use is also as low as it’s ever been, with just 3.6% of high school seniors reporting smoking daily. Twenty years ago, that number was around 22%. Teen vaping rates hit a record high in 2018, but teen drinking rates fell to a record low, according to NIDA data.

If vaping is bad, then alcohol must be far worse. Just look at the facts associated with alcohol consumption in the USA: “An estimated 88,000 people (approximately 62,000 men and 26,000 women) die from alcohol-related causes annually, making alcohol the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States. The first is tobacco, and the second is poor diet and physical inactivity.”

And vaping? Public Health England thinks vaping could save millions of lives in the future by killing smoking within a generation.

Does smoking make you look cool?

A cool person is being real. Being themselves and not caring how other people view what they say or do. Today too many people are concerned about how others view them. Posting pictures on social media sites of themselves on vacation or where they are eating dinner that particular evening. Do things for yourself and for YOU to enjoy it, not to show everyone else what you're doing.

07

Does vaping set off smoke alarms?

Fortunately, reports of electronic cigarettes setting off fire alarms are rare. Smoke alarms are designed to detect smoke, and electronic cigarettes produce vapor. Vapor dissipates a lot faster than smoke.

09

Is Vaping harmful to cats?

Vaping is when you inhale a liquid produced by aerosol that simulates smoking by heating the chemicals called “e-juice”. This chemical concoction contains numerous ingredients, such as formaldehyde, glycerine, nicotine, and sometimes THC (the active compound of marijuana) which can be dangerous to both cats and dogs but so can everything else in the world.

Can Vaping help me stop smoking cigarettes?

Manufacturers of vaping devices argue that their gadgets have fewer toxins and harmful chemicals than traditional cigarettes. Thus, people that want to avoid smoking-related diseases can switch from smoking to vaping.

Quitting smoking can be tough. Vaping is a way to quit cigarettes by getting nicotine with fewer of the toxins that come from burning tobacco. You get to stay social, spend less, and once you’ve quit smoking you’ll feel better for it.

What’s more, vaping devices can be used to control nicotine intake. That way, a person can avoid addiction or use them to end their nicotine dependence by gradually reducing their intake

06

If you vape can you still go to heaven?

You can certainly go to heaven. While smoking and vaping are not the most religious thing to do, it is not as sinful as lying, cheating, hurting others, or killing someone. But, researchers show Native Americans of the northwest were smoking tobacco more than 1,000 years before European fur traders arrived with their own domesticated variety. And, an ancient Greek historian named Herodotus described the Scythians—a large group of Iranian nomads in Central Asia—inhaling the smoke from smoldering cannabis seeds and flowers to get high. Jesus probably smoked weed and he's in heaven....right?

Alcohol molecules are then transported directly from your lungs into your bloodstream and brain.
